Getting started
Movie Scene is an iPhone app in development. This website introduces the app; it does not provide a movie-streaming service or a browser version of your library. A public App Store or TestFlight download is not available here yet.
In the current app, you can continue as a guest, choose streaming preferences, and begin discovering movies. An account is optional. Movie Scene is for ages 13 and older, subject to any higher local age or permission requirements. The Movie Scene+ screen is a coming-soon preview, not a checkout.
Discovery & your library
- Seen: you have watched it. This does not mean you liked it.
- Want to Watch: save it to your watchlist.
- Haven’t Seen / Skip: move past a movie without disliking it.
- Not Interested: leave it out of ordinary recommendations.
Ratings and favorites are separate, optional choices. Discovery offers Undo for the most recent eligible choice. Search and your library let you make manual changes.
Choose as many supported streaming services as you use. Current live availability is for the United States. Confirm pricing and availability with the provider before watching.
Pick something for tonight
On Home, choose Pick for tonight to narrow saved movies by runtime, genre, and services. Picks exclude Seen and Not Interested movies. A runtime limit also excludes movies with unknown runtimes.
Shuffle my watchlist chooses from movies marked Want to Watch. If there are no matches, try relaxing a filter or adding movies to your watchlist. Filters for a movie-night session do not change your saved streaming preferences.
Accounts, sync & sign-in
Signed-in accounts sync movie classifications, ratings, favorites, saved movie metadata, and streaming preferences. Use Profile → Sync now to retry an upload after reconnecting. If you see a conflict, review both versions before choosing which to keep.
Import guest library is an explicit action after your account finishes its first sync. Existing account choices are kept; the original guest library stays separate. Private moment sync is a separate opt-in on each device and account.
If an account email does not arrive, check spam, confirm the address, and use Resend confirmation email or Forgot password. Email delivery is still being prepared for public release. Contact support if you are blocked. Never email your password, recovery link, or verification code.
Notes, spoilers & community
A moment attaches your text to a movie timestamp. Your own notes can be edited or deleted. Optional private sync keeps them within your account; it does not publish them.
Public community publishing is not open yet. When available, sharing requires a separate submission, a public name, and review. See the community guidelines. Movie notes and content labels are personal observations, not a guarantee of age suitability.
Export your movie library
In Library, use the export toolbar button to save a CSV through the iPhone Files sheet. The export includes saved classifications, ratings, and favorites across the whole library, regardless of your current filter. It does not include private note text.
For a broader personal-data request, email Movie Scene privacy support. Tell us which account is involved; do not include a password.
Delete an account or personal data
- Open Profile in the Movie Scene app and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- Choose Delete account and read the confirmation.
- Enter DELETE and confirm the permanent deletion.
This removes the account and its cloud library, synced moments, streaming preferences, and associated community data, plus the account’s saved data on that device. Your separate guest library remains. Deleting the app alone does not delete a cloud account. Exports, device backups, and copies saved elsewhere are separate.
If you cannot access the app, request account deletion by email. We may need to verify account ownership. Do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel.
Report a problem or accessibility barrier
Include what you were trying to do, the steps to reproduce the issue, your app version, iOS version, and device model. A screenshot can help, but remove private notes, email addresses, and other sensitive content first.

For a content report, identify the movie, timestamp, and post where possible. Do not redistribute harmful material. Support is not an emergency service.
Artwork & data credits
App screenshots are saved simulator captures from September 2026 and show development UI and sample data. Film posters in those captures were sourced from TMDB image hosting for the app prototype; film artwork, titles, and service names belong to their respective owners. No studio, streaming service, or data provider endorsement is implied.
The app’s live metadata and US streaming availability are supplied through the Streaming Availability API via RapidAPI. Availability may change. The website does not query that API or display live availability.
The Quiet Beyond is original AI-generated illustrative artwork, not a real catalog title. Fonts are DM Sans and Manrope, served locally under the SIL Open Font License. Contact us about artwork or attribution.
